Fees and steps checked on
Our attestation services in Abu Dhabi are for people who live or work in Abu Dhabi city, Al Ain, Mussafah, Khalifa City and the rest of the emirate and want the whole job done for them. We collect the document from your address, take it through every stamp it needs, in the issuing country, at the UAE embassy and at MOFA, and bring it back. If all you need is the MOFA stamp and you prefer to apply yourself, our guide to MOFA attestation in Abu Dhabi explains that process; this page is about what we do for you.
Price: from AED 250 plus VAT for a UAE personal document that only needs MOFA and from AED 2,600 plus VAT for a UAE commercial document; from AED 985 plus VAT for a UK personal document on the standard route (AED 1,600 premium), from AED 1,025 plus VAT for a USA personal document; from AED 1,900 plus VAT for a Canadian personal document. All official fees and courier are included. Other countries are quoted after you send a copy. See attestation fees.

How it works for an Abu Dhabi customer
- Send a photo on WhatsApp with the issuing country and what you need it for.
- Get the route and total price before anything is collected.
- Courier collection from your home or office.
- Progress updates as each stamp is added.
- Delivery back to your Abu Dhabi or Al Ain address.
What Abu Dhabi customers usually bring us
- Degrees for a skilled job or the golden visa. Abu Dhabi's skilled professional golden visa route asks for an attested bachelor's degree or equivalent. See degree certificate attestation and attestation for the golden visa.
- Marriage and birth certificates for sponsoring family on an Abu Dhabi residence visa. See marriage certificate attestation.
- Company documents for businesses in Mussafah, Khalifa City and the free zones, which MOFA treats as commercial documents. See commercial document attestation.
- Salary and experience letters from Abu Dhabi employers going abroad. The Abu Dhabi Chamber attests member companies' documents and certifies salary and experience letters after a Ministry of Labour statement. See salary certificate attestation.
Indian, Filipino and other community documents
Many Abu Dhabi residents need a stamp from their own embassy as well. For Indian documents, the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi attests only after the state and Ministry of External Affairs steps in India, and its applications now go through consular application centres; we plan that step into the file. For Filipino, British, American and other documents, the UAE embassy step in the home country is usually what matters. See attestation by country.
Why use a service instead of applying yourself
Applying for MOFA alone online is straightforward for a UAE document. The time goes into everything around it: getting the home-country stamps right, choosing the correct embassy route, booking couriers between countries and fixing a rejection. That is the part we take on. We are a private document service, not MOFA or a government office, and we apply on your behalf as MOFA allows.
Avoid these Abu Dhabi mistakes
- Driving to an old MOFA counter. MOFA's Customer Happiness Centres are closed.
- Laminating a certificate to protect it. MOFA will not attest it.
- Translating too early, before the home-country stamps, which can mean paying twice. See legal translation.
- Sending a photocopy of a marriage, birth or death certificate. Official personal documents must be originals.
- Mixing personal and commercial papers in one application. A power of attorney with commercial content is charged at the commercial rate, so tell us what each document is for.
How long it takes
The time depends on the document, not on where in the UAE you live. A UAE document that needs only MOFA usually takes 2 to 3 working days. A UK personal document takes 12 to 14 working days on the premium service, Canada 4 to 6 weeks and the USA about 7 weeks. Other countries are confirmed with your quote.
Check the result
When the attested document is back in Abu Dhabi or Al Ain, check it on verify.mofa.gov.ae with the reference number and issue date before you hand it to an employer or visa office. See MOFA attestation verification.
