Attestation fees in the UAE are made up of several official charges: the home country's notary and foreign ministry, the UAE embassy, then MOFA. Our prices bundle all of these into one total, from AED 250 plus VAT for a UAE document that needs only MOFA and from AED 985 plus VAT for a UK personal document such as a UK degree (AED 1,025 for the USA, see US degree attestation). You see the total before any work starts.

All prices are plus 5% VAT. Personal documents include degree certificates, diplomas, transcripts, marriage, birth, divorce and death certificates. Commercial documents include certificates of incorporation, trade documents and other company papers. What the price includes
- Home country steps: notary or solicitor certification where needed, and the foreign ministry's legalisation or apostille fee.
- UAE embassy attestation in the issuing country.
- MOFA attestation fee in the UAE, or the combined embassy and MOFA digital attestation where that route applies.
- Courier for collecting and returning the original.
- Our handling: checking the document, preparing each submission and following it up.
A certified translation, an equivalency certificate or extra copies are quoted separately when your document needs them.
Official fees
The home country, the UAE embassy and MOFA each charge their own fee. Every official fee and the courier are included in the total price you get before any work starts.
Commercial invoices for goods of AED 10,000 and above go through eDAS. MOFA fines AED 500 per invoice for late payment after the 14 day grace period.
A marriage certificate, a birth certificate and an education certificate are all personal documents at MOFA. MOFA's own charges, with the official source, are on MOFA attestation fees. A degree from abroad also carries the home country and embassy steps, which is why the total is higher. See MOFA attestation for the process.

Power of attorney and notary work in Dubai
Many searches for attestation costs are really about a power of attorney or a certified true copy made in Dubai. These are done at a Dubai government notary under Executive Council Resolution No. 72 of 2025.

How quotes work for other countries
For any country or document not in the table, send a copy on WhatsApp and you get the total price, all official fees included, before any work starts. The quote names each authority, its step and the usual time, so you can see where the money goes. Nothing is added after you agree.
How to keep the cost down
- Attest all documents at once. One courier run and one set of submissions cover a degree, a marriage certificate and children's birth certificates.
- Do not laminate certificates. MOFA does not accept laminated documents, and a replacement costs time and fees.
- Check the language first. Documents must be in Arabic or English or carry a certified translation.
- Start early. Timelines are set out in how long attestation takes.
