We handle your equivalency certificate in the UAE from start to finish: the Dataflow verification, the follow up with your university and the recognition application with MoHESR. You send copies on WhatsApp and never need to visit. We tell you the route and the price before any work starts.
- Price: from AED 985 for degree equivalency.
- Time: usually around 20 days. Express service available.
- Visit needed: none, the service is fully remote.
Attestation is a separate process and is not included in the equivalency price. If your degree still needs attestation first, that starts from AED 985 plus VAT for UK standard documents or AED 1,025 plus VAT for USA personal documents. See attestation fees.
What we do for you
- We check your documents. Send a copy of your degree, mark sheets and passport on WhatsApp. We confirm which route your degree needs and give you the price.
- Attestation, if your degree still needs it. This is a separate service with its own price: home country, UAE embassy and MOFA. See degree certificate attestation.
- We run the Dataflow verification. We prepare and submit the application and follow up with your university until it replies.
- We file the recognition request. We submit the complete file to MoHESR and follow it until the decision.
- You receive the certificate. The Certificate of Recognition is issued electronically, ready for your employer or the visa authority.
Why people hand it to us
- Fully remote. You never visit an office. Copies on WhatsApp are enough to start.
- Clear price first. From AED 985, and you see your price before any work starts.
- Right order. If you also need attestation, we do it before Dataflow, so nothing is paid twice.
- Any country. UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Europe, the Philippines, Africa and the Middle East.
- Problems caught early. Name mismatches, missing transcripts and provisional certificates are checked before anything is submitted.
What to send us
Clear copies are enough. You do not need to come in:
- Passport and Emirates ID copies
- Degree certificate, front and back
- Mark sheets for every year or semester
- The exact start and end dates of your course (DD/MM/YYYY)
- A legal translation if the certificate is not in Arabic or English
A name mismatch between passport and certificate is the most common reason a file gets stuck. If your name has changed, keep the marriage certificate or deed poll ready.
Who needs an equivalency certificate
- Golden visa applicants on the skilled professional route. See attestation for the golden visa.
- Licensed professionals. Engineers, teachers, doctors, nurses and other regulated jobs are often asked for a recognised degree before a licence is issued or renewed.
- Employees whose employer asks for proof that a foreign degree is recognised, often before a promotion or a government or semi-government role.
- Students joining a UAE school or university, or starting a postgraduate programme, with a certificate from abroad.
Equivalency is not the same as attestation. Degree certificate attestation proves your certificate is genuine; equivalency tells the UAE what level it is. Most people need both. We do both, priced separately. New to the term? Read what an equivalency certificate means.
School certificates and diplomas
A diploma from a college or university is higher education, so it goes to MoHESR. GCSEs, A levels, an HSC and other school certificates up to Grade 12 go to the Ministry of Education. See MOE attestation and MOE equivalency in the UAE. KHDA does not issue equivalency; it handles Dubai school transfer certificates through the school.
What usually delays a file
- Dataflow started before attestation, so part of it is paid twice.
- Name differences between passport, degree and transcript.
- Missing transcripts. Order them early; they often take longer than the degree.
- Provisional or online certificates. Recognition needs the final certificate.
We check all of this before anything is submitted. For a credential report for Canada or the US instead, see WES evaluation from the UAE.
Application rejected or stuck?
A rejection or a file that has gone quiet is usually fixable. Send us the decision or the last message you received on WhatsApp. We read the reason, tell you plainly what went wrong and what it takes to fix it, and give you a price for the fix before you pay anything. Fees already paid on a rejected application are not refunded, because the decision is made by the ministry.
The usual causes:
- Verification report rejected because the university did not answer Dataflow, or answered with different details
- Name or date mismatch between the passport, degree and transcript
- Attestation missing or done in the wrong order
- Distance, online or part-time study that needs extra proof of attendance
- University accreditation questions for the year you graduated
