People living in Ras Al Khaimah tend to share one problem when a certificate needs attesting: distance. Driving down to Dubai to drop off a degree, then again to collect it, eats two days. We remove that. For residents of Al Nakheel, Al Hamra, Khuzam, Al Marjan Island and everywhere else in the emirate, we arrange courier collection and return, and handle the stamps in between.
Who uses our RAK service
Free zone employees starting a new job
A large share of our Ras Al Khaimah enquiries come from people who have just accepted a role with a company in one of the emirate's free zones. Before a work visa is issued for a skilled position, the employer or the free zone authority will often ask for an attested degree. Requirements vary by employer and role, so confirm with HR exactly what they need. Then we take care of the rest: the education authority and foreign ministry stamps in the issuing country, the UAE embassy step and MOFA. Read more on degree certificate attestation.
Families settling in the emirate
Bringing a spouse or children onto your RAK residence visa usually means an attested marriage certificate and birth certificates. Those originals come from abroad, so they follow the home-country route first. See marriage certificate attestation.
Business owners
Company documents, such as a certificate of incorporation or a board resolution from a parent company overseas, are charged as commercial documents. Tell us what each paper is for so the quote is right.
Residents sending UAE papers overseas
A certificate issued in the UAE for use in another country takes the opposite path: the issuing UAE authority, then MOFA, then the destination embassy here if required. We line those up too.
What it costs from Ras Al Khaimah
You pay the same as a customer in Dubai. Every price below is a starting total, plus VAT, with official fees and courier already inside it:
- United Kingdom, personal, standard route: AED 985
- United States, personal: AED 1,025
- Canada, personal: AED 1,900
- UAE paper needing only MOFA: AED 250 personal, AED 2,600 commercial
- Everything else: a quote after we see a copy
Full details are on attestation fees, and routes for each issuing nation are on attestation by country.
The process, step by step
Step one: a photo. WhatsApp us a picture of the certificate, front and back if anything is printed on the reverse, plus the issuing country and the reason you need it.
Step two: a fixed plan. We confirm which stamps apply, roughly how long it will take and the total price. You approve before we book anything.
Step three: pickup in RAK. A courier collects the original from your home or office.
Step four: the stamps. For a foreign paper, the original travels to the issuing country for its local and UAE embassy stamps, then returns for MOFA. For a UAE paper, it goes to the issuer and then MOFA. We send updates along the way.
Step five: delivery. The attested document is couriered back to your RAK address.
Before you hand it over
A few checks save weeks. Do not laminate the certificate. Make sure names match your passport, because a spelling difference can stop a file. Keep any translation until after the foreign stamps are in place. And remember that an apostille alone is not enough here; the UAE embassy step is still needed.
Applying yourself versus using us
If you hold a UAE-issued paper that already has its issuer's stamp, MOFA lets you apply online, and the process for the northern emirates is set out in MOFA attestation in Sharjah and the northern emirates. Where we help most is everything outside that: foreign authorities, embassy routes, couriers between countries and fixing rejections.
We are a private service based in Bur Dubai, not MOFA or a government body. Customers elsewhere can see our attestation services in Abu Dhabi.
