What to bring
The exact list depends on the application. For most visits, bring:
- Original passport and a clear copy
- Current visa or Emirates ID, if you have one
- A recent passport photo
- Your sponsor's details, for family and domestic worker visas
- Certificates such as marriage or birth certificates, attested if the application needs it
- Your mobile number and email, because many results are sent there
Tip: send photos of your documents on WhatsApp before you come. We tell you what is missing, so you do not make a second trip.
Not in Bur Dubai? Send it on WhatsApp
Many of our clients never visit the office. If you live in Dubai Marina, Al Barsha, Deira, International City or anywhere else in Dubai, this is how it works:
- Send photos of your documents on WhatsApp and tell us what you need.
- Get a checklist and one total price before any work starts.
- Free pickup. If we need originals, we collect them from your home or office anywhere in Dubai.
- We type and submit the application and keep you updated.
- Free delivery. Your originals and the result come back to you.
You still attend in person where the law requires it, such as the medical test and Emirates ID biometrics.
Before you set off
Check three things so one visit is enough. First, confirm your passport is valid, because most applications ask for a passport with several months left. Second, bring originals as well as copies, since the officer or our team compares them. Third, if the application involves a certificate from abroad, check whether it has already been attested, because typing cannot replace attestation. See attestation fees in the UAE for how that is priced.
Common mistakes at a typing centre
- Arriving without the right sponsor papers. Family and domestic worker applications need the sponsor's details.
- Blurry or cropped photos. A rejected photo delays the whole file.
- Name spelled differently on the passport and the certificate. Tell us before we type, because the application must match the passport.
- Expecting a decision at the counter. We submit and follow up, but GDRFA, ICP, MOHRE and the medical centres decide.
What we do and what the authorities do
We check your documents, type the application, submit it through the official channel and follow it up. GDRFA, ICP, MOHRE, MOFA and the medical centres make the decisions and issue the permits, cards and results. We are not ICP, GDRFA, Amer, Tasheel or a government office, and we cannot change the outcome of an application.
