Caribbean certificate attestation covers birth, marriage, degree and company documents from the Caribbean states that need to be used in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or anywhere else in the UAE. The home-country step is usually simple, since most of these states issue Hague apostilles. The UAE step is the variable: the UAE has no resident embassy on most islands, so the mission that attests your document depends on where it was issued. We confirm it for your island before you pay, and the chain always ends with MOFA attestation.
Price: Send a copy on WhatsApp and you get the total price plus VAT, all official fees included, before any work starts. See attestation fees.

Why each island is different
The UAE covers most of the Caribbean through non-resident ambassadors. The UAE Ambassador in Havana has been reported as accredited to several neighbouring states, including Jamaica, Haiti and Saint Kitts and Nevis, and the UAE's Permanent Representative to the UN in New York has presented credentials as non-resident ambassador to Grenada. None of these islands appears on a published UAE attestation page today: the Havana embassy lists only Cuban and UAE documents. So for each island we confirm which mission currently accepts the document, and how, before it is sent.
British territories in the Caribbean
Documents from the Cayman Islands, Anguilla, Montserrat, the Turks and Caicos Islands and the British Virgin Islands follow a published route. The UAE Embassy in London requires them to be apostilled by the territory's government and then legalised by the FCDO before the embassy attests them. Most of our work from these territories is company documents: see British Virgin Islands certificate attestation.
The general steps
- Original from the issuing office: the registrar general for births, marriages and deaths, the university for degrees, a notary for powers of attorney.
- Home authority: apostille from the foreign ministry or designated office, or legalisation in Haiti.
- UAE mission step for that island, confirmed with your quote.
- MOFA attestation in the UAE, unless the mission's digital attestation already includes it.
Fees
Every official fee and the courier are included in the total price you get before any work starts. That covers the island apostille, the UAE mission and MOFA.
Common Caribbean problems
- Apostille sent straight to the UAE. An employer or GDRFA will treat it as not attested.
- Photocopies of civil records. MOFA needs originals that are not laminated. Order a fresh certified original from the registrar if yours is worn; see birth certificate attestation.
- Marriage certificate copies that are not certified by the registrar: see marriage certificate attestation.
Other regions are listed on attestation by country.
