An equivalency certificate tells the UAE what your Indian degree is worth here. It is issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR), and it is now called a Certificate of Recognition. We prepare the whole file for you. You send copies on WhatsApp and never need to visit.
- Price: from AED 985 for degree equivalency.
- Time: usually around 20 days from a complete file. Express service available.
- Visit needed: none, the service is fully remote.
Attestation of your degree is a separate service and is not included in the equivalency price. Indian attestation is quoted per document, because state rules differ. See Indian degree attestation.
Who needs it
- Job seekers and employees. Some employers ask for a recognised degree, often before a promotion or a government or semi-government role.
- Licensed professionals. Engineers, teachers, nurses, doctors and other regulated jobs are often asked for a recognised degree before a licence is issued or renewed.
- Golden visa applicants on the skilled professional route. See attestation for the golden visa.
- Students starting a master's or another postgraduate programme in the UAE with an Indian bachelor's degree.

The order of steps for an Indian degree
The order matters. If a step is done too early, part of the work can be paid twice.
- Attestation in India. The university confirms the degree, the state gives the HRD stamp, and MEA attests it. The HRD and MEA attestation guide explains this stage.
- UAE Embassy and MOFA. The UAE Embassy in New Delhi and MOFA now attest the degree together in one digital step. Nothing is left to do at a MOFA counter in Dubai.
- Dataflow verification. Dataflow contacts your university directly and confirms the degree, your name and your dates of study. See Dataflow verification.
- MoHESR recognition application. With the attested degree and the Dataflow report, the recognition request is filed on the MoHESR portal. The ministry reviews it and issues the certificate electronically.
If your degree is already attested, we start at step 3.
What we do for you
- We check your documents. We confirm which steps your degree still needs and give you the price before any work starts.
- We arrange attestation, if needed. This is a separate service with its own quote.
- We run the Dataflow verification. We prepare the upload and follow up with your university until it replies.
- We file the recognition request with MoHESR and follow it until the decision.
- You receive the certificate, ready for your employer, licensing body or visa application.
What to send us
Clear copies are enough to start:
- Passport and Emirates ID copies
- Degree certificate, front and back
- Mark sheets for every year or semester
- The exact start and end dates of your course (DD/MM/YYYY)
If we need the originals for attestation, we collect them. Document pickup and delivery is free anywhere in Dubai.
Common problems with Indian degrees
- Distance or online learning. Distance, online and part-time degrees are often asked for extra proof. Whether they are accepted depends on the university and the programme. We check this before you pay.
- Name mismatch. The name on the degree, mark sheets and passport should match. If it differs, an affidavit or other supporting paper is usually needed. Prepare it early.
- Missing mark sheets. The ministry asks for every year or semester. Order missing ones from your university early, as they can take longer than the degree.
- Attestation missing or in the wrong order. Dataflow and MoHESR build on the attested degree, so attestation comes first.
- Provisional certificate only. Recognition needs the final degree certificate.
Good to know
- We are a private document service, not a government office. MoHESR makes every recognition decision.
- The equivalency fee is non-refundable, because the ministry decides the outcome. We check your file first to avoid the usual reasons for rejection.
- For degrees from any country, see our main equivalency certificate in the UAE page.
