Fees and steps checked on
Jordan certificate attestation makes a Jordanian degree, Tawjihi certificate, birth certificate, marriage contract or company document valid across the UAE. Jordan is not in the Hague Apostille Convention, so documents are legalised by the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then attested by the UAE Embassy in Amman. Amman runs the UAE's digital attestation service, so the embassy stamp and the MOFA attestation are issued together, with no separate MOFA step once the document reaches Dubai.
Price: send a copy on WhatsApp and you get the total price plus VAT, all official fees included, before any work starts. Jordan has no fixed price because education documents need an extra ministry step. See attestation fees.
The Jordan to UAE attestation route
- Ministry of Education (education documents only). Degrees, transcripts and school certificates are certified by the Jordanian education authority first.
- Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The ministry legalises the document or the education stamp on it.
- Application on the MOFA portal. The application is filed online with UAE PASS, Jordan is chosen as the issuing country, and the government fees are paid online.
- Collection of the original. A MOFA-approved service provider collects the original document.
- Digital attestation by the UAE Embassy in Amman and MOFA. The document is attested digitally by both and sent by email, ready for use in the UAE. The original is returned by courier.
The digital stage usually takes 2 to 3 working days. The original paper document is still required: a scan alone cannot be attested.

Fees for Jordanian documents
Every official fee and the courier are included in the total price you get before any work starts.
If the embassy rejects an application, the attestation fee is refunded automatically, but the provider's service and delivery fee is not. Our quote includes all official fees, so you see one total.
Already in the UAE?
This is where the Jordanian route is strongest. Once the Jordanian ministry steps are done, the UAE stage needs no visit to any office in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah. MOFA allows anyone to apply on your behalf, and the digitally attested document arrives by email. You can check it at any time through MOFA attestation verification.
Families in the UAE often hold papers from more than one country. If some of yours come from Palestine, use the route on Palestine certificate attestation for those.
Common problems with Jordanian documents
- Degree without the education stamp. The foreign ministry legalises the stamp before it, so start with the education authority.
- Expecting a separate MOFA stamp. On the digital route, the MOFA attestation is already on the last page. Do not pay for a second MOFA step in the UAE.
- Sending a scan. The digital route still needs the original paper document for collection.
- Lamination. MOFA does not attest laminated certificates.
