Fees and steps checked on
Turkey degree attestation makes a lisans, yüksek lisans or doktora diploma from a Turkish university valid for a UAE work permit, a professional licence or degree recognition. The diploma is translated by a sworn translator and notarised, certified by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attested by the UAE Embassy in Ankara or the UAE Consulate General in Istanbul, then completed with MOFA attestation in the UAE.
Price: There is no fixed price for Turkey. Send a copy on WhatsApp and you get the total price plus VAT, all official fees included, before any work starts. See attestation fees.
We are a private document service, not MOFA, an embassy or a government office. Free document pickup and delivery anywhere in Dubai is included.
Which documents you need
- The original diploma from the university, not laminated.
- The transcript (transkript), if the UAE request names it.
- The barcoded graduation certificate from e-Devlet, as a backup that can be checked online.
- A passport copy, with the exact spelling of your name.
Step by step for a Turkish diploma
- Check the document. We look at whether you hold the diploma, a temporary graduation certificate or only an e-Devlet printout, and pick the one most likely to be accepted.
- Sworn translation and notary. VFS, MOFA's attestation service provider, lists notarisation and translation as the first step. A yeminli tercüman translates the diploma into English and a Turkish noter certifies it.
- Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The ministry certifies the signature and seal before it. It confirms the stamps, never the content of the diploma.
- UAE mission in Türkiye. The UAE Embassy in Ankara or the UAE Consulate General in Istanbul attests the ministry stamp. We found no MOFA digital attestation page for Türkiye, so the paper route applies unless your file shows otherwise.
- MOFA in the UAE. The final stamp, filed online once the diploma is back in the UAE.
How the diploma is used in the UAE
Work permits. Turkish engineers, architects, chefs with culinary degrees and managers moving to skilled roles are asked for an attested degree. See attestation for an employment visa.
Recognition. Doctors, teachers and engineers often need a Certificate of Recognition from the Ministry of Higher Education. It needs the attested diploma, the transcript and the exact study dates, and a YÖK record that matches helps. See equivalency certificate in the UAE.
Doing it from Dubai
You do not need to fly to Istanbul or Ankara. A relative can take the diploma to the translator and the notary, or the original travels by courier. The UAE mission step is done in Türkiye, and the MOFA stamp is filed online once the diploma is back. If you also need the transcript, send it in the same round so the translator and the ministry handle both together.
Common problems with Turkish diplomas
- Printout instead of the original. An e-Devlet graduation certificate can be verified online, but where the UAE mission expects a wet signed diploma the printout may be refused. We decide before anything goes to the notary.
- Turkish letters in the name. "Gökçe Şahin" on the diploma and "Gokce Sahin" on the passport must be tied together in the sworn translation, or MOFA may query the match.
- Graduates still waiting for the diploma. Universities issue a temporary certificate first and the printed diploma later. Starting with the temporary paper can mean doing the chain twice.
